CleanShot X

I’m a screenshot addict. I am. Not sure if that because I’m a photographer, used to shoot everything as a sort of life’s notebook. I see screenshots also as shots of our online lives, notes of things we see on the web.

Tot

I’m weak. I am.

theFencePortraits

We’re stuck at home for a couple of months now. The Corona issue is still ongoing, and we can definitely count ourselves lucky, as we’re living in a country where the virus is controlled and managed to keep safe until now. We’re double lucky because our in-laws kindly took us in, so we don’t have to go through this experience in the city, and that’s helping us deal with it a lot better.

Drafts

Drafts, again, maybe forever ?

Clara

Pandemic! Lockdown! Lockdown!
Oh, no, the baby is coming! The baby is here!

London Calling

London is calling. After all these years, we’re going. We’ve gone around the world, and now it’s time for a trip to London.

Night

Ludovico Einaudi. Night.

DinkiWinkiMinkiWinki

Now this is something that’s been on my mind for a while now, and last Saturday was the day I finally took the time to do it.
I went ahead and registered DinkiWinkiMinkiWinki as a domain, and now the splash page is live. Hosted on Adobe Portfolio, as I’m guessing this will be a photo project in the end.

Still Adobe Portfolio

It’s getting bigger. Much much bigger.
I’ll have to edit this to, at least, half it’s size.

Adobe Portfolio

The site is moving.
I’ll leave Squarespace and move my domain to Adobe Portfolio. I don’t really use Squarespace’s multitude of features, and Adobe Portfolio is included with the plan I’m subscribed to.

Amazing Honeymoon

Almost done with the upload process, theAmazingHoneymoon album now has over 2000 photos, even though only a few are set to public.
You can browse them already , but the editing process, and deciding which ones will be shown in the end, is still ongoing.

ChooseLinux / DitchWindows

Jason Evangelho’s Linux adventure goes on. Today we have a new podcast, Choose Linux. Already listening to the first episode, and it’s good.
If you’re looking into moving your stuff to the Linux side, he also has a new site, DitchWindows, where you can follow his own move to the penguin side. He’s already written a ton of stuff, so you’ll be busy for a while.

Photo Day

Today I’m taking a break from WordPress hell, and taking some photos. Yay!

Vanity Fair

My real occupation is being a photographer. Travel and Set Photographer. That’s what I love, that’s what I’ve been doing for over a quarter of a century.

BeMyEyes

A tweet from Mr. Bruno Amaral made me sign up for an app.
The app is called Be My Eyes and according to their own words

Be My Eyes is an app made up of a global community that connects people who are blind or have low vision with sighted volunteers and company representatives through a live video call.

It’s a brilliant idea, and I can’t wait to be of assistance to someone who needs my eyes.

You should go download the app, and sign in as a volunteer.

Waneella Also Here

Screenshot time, again. Still from the amazing Waneella. Also using her stuff on the Apple Watch.

Getting Back to Flickr

I’ve been away from Flickr for a while, using it mainly as an archive for my work.
We came back from theAmazingHoneymoon and I just started uploading the thousands of photos we took during the three-month long trip around Asia, and the four months we spent at Príncipe before that.

Old School

One of the nice things about Linux is that I’m finding a ton of new applications.
Some are big, stuff you can use instead of those apps you’re used to in MacOS or Windows, and some are smaller things that make Linux fun to use.

Screenshot test with neofetch

One of the things everyone seems to be doing is posting a screenshot with their specs. Doing the same here.

Adventures in Linux Land

After years without thinking about Linux, the thought of installing it again crossed my mind, and I dove in.

Todoist

I have memory issues. And I need to keep track of a lot of things, as one usually does. The two don’t go well together.
